A filmmaker who tells stories through light — searching for emotion in the depth of the frame.
Graduated from Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Cinema and TV in 2004, Orçun Özkılınç has worked as a Director of Photography on numerous feature films, short films, documentaries, TV series, and commercials.
He has received seven Best Cinematography Awards at national and international film festivals, recognized for his distinctive visual language that merges cinematic elegance with emotional authenticity.
Selected filmography includes: Sivil, Mavzer, Sardunya, Ali’s Nature (Ali’nin Tabiatı), The Life of a Snowflake (Bir Kar Tanesi’nin Ömrü), Bars, and Kanun Hükmü.
