A graduate of Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Cinema and Television, Engin Tosun has extensive production experience across film, documentary, and theatre. Throughout his career, he has worked as both a line producer and director on numerous feature films, short films, documentaries, and stage productions.

Among the feature films he served as line producer are The Grain of Wheat (2022), The Fugitive Within (2022), Ali’s Nature (2021), and Akif (2021). In the short film category, he worked on Then I Woke Up (2016) and Fooled (2014). His most recent documentary project, Hasbelkaderism (2025), bears his signature as both producer and director.

Beyond cinema, Tosun is also active in theatre production. He took part as line producer in the play İstanbul Efendisi (2025, Season 1 – including premiere) and has directed and produced various corporate films, cultural promotion campaigns, and short-format advertising projects.
